In the Fog

I'm practicing with the Lensbaby.  I found this great truck in the desert on the outskirts of a ranch.  The gray hazy background is not only the effect of the Lensbaby, but we also had fog the other day which is very unusual for Tucson...actually anything other than sun is unusual for Tucson!

I agree, the fog makes the photo dynamical

It's like a 'Magic Eye' image, the more you stare at it the clearer and more outstanding the central point becomes!

Fun effect! I've always been kind of jealous of people's Lensbabies. :-)

Sold my lensbaby a couple weeks ago, didn't get many good results with it, I found it extremely difficult to get even one area of the image to be sharp...

Never tried one, but they look as though they could be fun, like the Holga.

Great shot T. Good to see you around. I have missed you. :)

Fun! Aren't Lensbabies rather expensive? I can get the effect in Photoshop, but it's probably not as good.

I hope you find the best burger and that you have a wonderful birthday! I've been told that Steak & Shake has excellent burgers (made with steak) and their shakes are to die 4. The Steak & Shake we have here also has a "happy hour," 2 for 1 in the afternoons. :-)

Fog? Makes a change from sun, lol! We're expecting gale force winds tonight... :-(

I very interested in Lensbabies products, just haven't made up my mind. My problem is that I over-think things.
Nice job fooling around!

Looks like you are in a hurricane, very dynamic. Maybe I can make such a photo tomorrow, we will have strong winds here. Hope you are allright now.

Work well, gives it a mysterious look, perhaps also a little sinister.

I will continue to tell you, often seem to have your photo taken ... to The Twilight Zone!

It is that sooner or later someone dressed in black of the FBI will come here?

It looks like you breathed on the lens but didn't wipe it off afterward.

Nice effect. This can be hard to manage. Well done!

Looks like a fun lens to play with. Many years ago I used to try to get a similar effect by taking a standard UV filter and smearing a little vasoline around the edges. It was great for softening portraits.

Very nice effect with the lens baby. A dynamic image even if the truck might not be able to run.

I love experimenting with photography. Your image is a good reminder for me to step out of the box and look at subjects differently. How are you liking the Lensbaby?
