The Sonoran Desert inhabits parts of Arizona, California, Nevada, and Mexico. It's one of the largest and hottest deserts in North America. Heaven in the winter, and...well...really bad in the summer.

A beautiful glimpse of the Sonoran Desert. The saguaro, being an indicator plant, tells me where I'm at! The grasses of the high country streams are abundant. A wonderful photo that reminds me of the desert saying "go up for water and down for wood". A survivors creed!
And I miss it so much! Lovely pic to remind me!

A very beautiful and fascinating place. I went to the Sonoran Desert one August about 10 years ago and it was hot. But you expect that, just like you expect snow in Boston in January.
