This is how I spent my Monday, hiking in Sabino Canyon. It was a good day.
I dedicate this photo to Bob of St. Louis Daily Photo who likes to remind me that I live in Tucson, not Europe, and JM of Oeiras Daily Photo who has an affinity for succulents.

Reminds me of a place called Superstition Mountain... went there for a hike in the 110° F heat when I was staying in the Mesa / Phoenix area.
Have a great week

Wonderful photo and great title. Makes me a bit nostalgic for our days in Tempe/Scottsdale!
I have never heard of this canyon but it looks amazing.

This is a gorgeous photo! Wasn't it just wonderful yesterday? A perfect day for a hike I'd say.
Thanks to Bob for bringing you back home. Now I will once again miserably long for the desert I miss so much through your great photos. I may have been better off with you stuck in Europe. Love this photo. It belongs framed on my wall.
lucky woman, you like in a wonder of the nature...
happy new year to you, ciao
I love Sabino Canyon and this is a GORGEOUS capture!!! The weather is beautiful this week! :-)
Wow.
It is really beautiful to see such a landscape. You have to walk carefully, between the succulents I suppose.
The scenery looks very spectacular. I guess you enjoyed a hike in reasonable temperatures.
Beautifully shot and appropriately named.
They keep going and going and going, even way up high. It looks like a pretty great place to hike.
Absolutely AWESOME! Great shot T. Good to see you around!
What joy it must have been to breath.
Please have a good Wednesday.
Excellent title for this amazing image T.
Wow, more saguaro than there are vigilantes along the border. This is what I've been looking for. We often can't choose the time we shoot but this would be awfully dramatic at dawn or dusk.
I have always wanted to hike there. What a marvelous shot!
Amazing landscape!!!!
Great shot!
Excellent shot!

well, your friend is quite patriotic...
I think you both are right: because you like Europe, and he reminds where your roots are...
and so, look how beautiful blog you have ;)
Wonderful picture, that doesn't look like Europe for sure :D Happy new year! May all your dreams and wishes come true :) x Laura Abigail
Like the angle of this shot to capture the amazing landscape! Fascinating shot!
It looked like someone could get some needles stuck in them before making it to the top, lol. Very nice shot. Richard
This is amazing, T.! And, of course, you know I love it. It reminds so much of the views you have when you travel from Mexico City to Oaxaca, although the species are not the same.
Luogo molto particolare...
Buon 2012
